Early 1960's Canadian green beret.  Beret is wool felt with leather trim.  Liner was removed.  Has the large vent rivets to side.  Wool was shaved.  May have been Canadian used as the hole pattern where the flash would be placed seems to indicate a Canadian style badge was in place.
